Terrain Parks

We are gearing up for a great season here at Stratton.  The days are shorter, the leaves are changing, and the air is cooler…WINTER IS COMING!!!!  We have a few changes and also a couple additions.  This year we have changed our large park from suntanner to byrnside.  But don't worry we're going to have the same huge features, you're sure not to be disappointed!  Also, after three long years we are going to re-open the 18 foot superpipe, but don't look on the main side of the mountain because it will be located on Sunriser Supertrail.  We have also built some natural features on emerald forest; which is located off of hemlock.  Please keep posted for more updates as we get closer to opening day!

The Byrnside park will be our large park with features including large step down jumps, gap on rails and boxes, and our 10 foot by 20 foot wall ride at the bottom fo the trail.

Stratton's medium-sized park is located on Old Smoothie and will include larger rails and jumps than Tyrolienne, but will still offer good progression.

Tyrolienne is home to Stratton's small terrain features.  One step larger then Parkway, but not quite as big as Smoothie or Suntanner, Tyrolienne offers terrain features such as table-tops and butter boxes to help skiers and riders work on their skills.

The Kids Parkway is our smallest park that we specially designed for teaching or first time parks riders.  We've partnered with Burton for thus unique Learn to Freestyle program.

The Betwixt and Beeline Rail Gardens sit right at the top of the American Express 6-Pack.   These parks will feature rails, boxes and other jibs; some ride-on and some jump-on.
After 3 long years we will re-introduce our 18 foot superpipe at it's new location in the sun bowl.
Going through the program gives you access to some of the best rated parks in the country.  Our S.E.S. program is now offered completely online. All you have to do is watch the smart style video, answer 5 questions correctly, print out you assumption of risk, and bring it to the S.E.S. ticket window at the ticket counter.  All skiers and snowboarder are required to attend SES before earning access to Stratton's parks.
